Set Up Noema with a Blueprint

Review a proposed model, runtime, and privacy setup on the actual device before applying it.

A Blueprint describes a proposed Noema setup, including a model, runtime preferences, and supported privacy and project settings. Open it in Noema to review the changes before applying them.

Open and review a Blueprint

  1. Open the Blueprint’s handoff link on the device where you want to use Noema.
  2. Review the proposed model, download size, settings, and privacy choices.
  3. Check the device compatibility and storage guidance.
  4. Choose Apply & Download, or Apply Blueprint if a suitable model is already installed.
  5. Wait for downloading, verification, and model activation to finish.

Opening a Blueprint does not approve it. Noema checks the actual device before offering to apply the setup, and identifies unsupported choices in the review.

Continue an interrupted setup

Noema keeps progress for an approved setup so you can return after an interruption.

  • Choose Resume download when the transfer is paused.
  • Choose Retry if downloading, verification, or activation fails.
  • Review the setup again when prompted. Noema rechecks the installed model, available resources, and current settings.

A download can finish successfully even if the device cannot load the selected configuration. Noema keeps the installed model so you can retry without automatically downloading it again.

Troubleshooting

If downloading is blocked, check your connection, available storage, and Off-grid Mode. If loading fails, a smaller model or shorter context may be needed.

A Blueprint dismissed before approval is not treated as an unfinished installation.
