How we release models.
What every Noema model release has done so far.
We name the base model
Every release names the model it was post-trained from and the Qwen3.5 model it descends from, on its model page and its Hugging Face card.
We measure against that base
Model pages compare each release with the Qwen3.5 model it was built from, in the same harness. For Noema 1.5 4B, every difference is paired against Qwen3.5-4B with a 95% bootstrap interval, and we call it a gain only when the interval excludes zero.
We state the license
Weights go to Hugging Face with their terms on the model card. They are open weights, and we do not call them open source.
We publish how we evaluated
Benchmarks, sampling settings and token budgets sit beside the results. The Noema 1.5 pages also list the limitations we found.
